The crankbait is one of the most versatile lures in any angler's tackle box because it can cover nearly any depth in the entire water column. For this reason, we designed two crankbait rods that will allow a kayak angler to cover any depth they desire. The TC90573bk was designed to cover the widest array of crankbaits from shallow squarebills to bigger body deep divers.
Both rods are constructed from carbon fiber and our cranking blanks were designed to match the performance serious crankers require, such as a parabolic bend for great casting distance and excellent hook up ratios. Serious crankbait alers require a rod that provides the forgiveness to ensure great hook ups with multiple treble hook baits without ripping the bait out of the fishes mouth. We prefer crankbait rods constructed of uni-directional carbon fiber because they are extremely sensitive and helps you determine what your plug is in contact with.
